To the sound of a heartbeat pounding away / To the rhythm of a time bomb ticking away
You don’t have to prove anything to anyone; we accept your decision, because it’s your life and in the end you’re the one who’s going to live it. We don’t expect you to make a decision someone else wants you to make, because they’re not going to live with it. We’re proud of you in ALL your achievements, and we just want to see you happy and successful, wherever that may be. Just focus on YOU, do YOUR own own thing, and forget about other people and what they might say, think, or if they judge you. They don’t make you, they can’t break you, and you have yourself to worry about, not others. Those that matter don’t mind, and those that mind don’t matter! So don’t let it matter to you what those people that have no importance think! You’ve made it this far on your own, and I’m sure you’ll keep making it big without having the pressure of others around you.
